I had a great time doing the read-a-thon.  Thank you to the awesome hosts and cheerleaders for putting on this event.  :)Now for the final post.

1. Which hour was most daunting for you? The most daunting was around 11 pm.  I made the mistake of thinking I could take a little nap.  The next thing I knew it was 6:30am!

2. Could you list a few high-interest books that you think could keep a Reader engaged for next year? Unfortunately no, but from the suggestions I have seen, keep the book short.

3. Do you have any suggestions for how to improve the Read-a-thon next year? No.  The hosts and cheerleaders did a great job.

4. What do you think worked really well in this year’s Read-a-thon? The interactions on Twitter was great as was the encouragement to keep going.

5. How many books did you read? Sadly I only managed to complete one.

6. What were the names of the books you read? This Is So Not Happening by Kieran Scott

7. Which book did you enjoy most? This Is So Not Happening by Kieran Scott

8. Which did you enjoy least? None the book I managed to finish was great.

9. How likely are you to participate in the Read-a-thon again? What role would you be likely to take next time? I definitely will participate in the next read-a-thon and maybe as a cheerleader and reader.

1) How are you doing? Sleepy? Are your eyes tired? I have made it the first 12 hours and I am a little sleepy but determined to keep going. If I get too tired, I listen to my go to song Club Can't Handle Me to wake me up.

 2) What have you finished reading? I have finished reading This Is So Not Happening by Kieran Scott

 3) What is your favorite read so far? Since I have only finished one book, it would have to be the book I finished :)

 4) What about your favorite snacks? Peanut M and Ms

 5) Have you found any new blogs through the readathon? If so, give them some love! I have not had time to really look at other blogs yet but will!

I am excited to participate in my 4th read a thon!.  So lets get to it.

1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today? Beautiful sunny Northern California.

 2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to? Slated by Terri Terry.  I have heard lots of good things about this book.

 3) Which snack are you most looking forward to? Peanut M and M's

 4) Tell us a little something about yourself! Sometimes I am way too intense about things-but that can be a good thing :)

 5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? Take more breaks and if the book is not working for me, move on to the next.  My goal is to read at least three books.

Hi All

I am so excited to be participating in my 4th Read a Thon.  I had a blast during the spring read a thon.  I missed the first 2 hours but I almost made it through the entire event.  The downside, I did not even finish one book.  I made a poor choice in my selection but was determined to finish the book.  Alas I did not make it.  This time, I have made a better selections and I hope to finish at least 3 books.
If you have not signed up what is keeping you?  Save the date! 10/12/13-will you be there for Dewey's 24 Hour Read-A-Thon
